no pictures for this blog, and not much writing even, just to say that after over four years of writing this blog, I have just become aware that there are statistics that shows me how many people are reading my blog, and where they are.
I am therefore dumbfounded to realize that at this very moment there are two people reading my blog in NAMIBIA and one in SOUTH KOREA! Isn't that fantastic! I will never feel lonely again!

Well, maybe. But never make the mistake of thinking they're all your friends - though no doubt we all make a few in the blogosphere...

Of course, David, they may well be reading the blog and hating it! But I am of an optimistic disposition, and the idea that someone is reading it at all is amazing to me..!
Robyn, there seems to be in the region of 100 to 150 people per day reading this blog. they come from, in descending order; the US, the UK, France, Benelux, Sweden,Germany, Poland, Mali,Morocco(?!,Russia, Italy, Spain ....etc and every now and then an unexpected one like indeed Namibia or South Korea.
Erica, just look under 'statistics' when you are signed in. You can only look at the statistics of your own blog, not of someone else's.

Actually that sounded very eeyorish, and probably autobiographical. You DESERVE all those readers; I just think people in the blogosphere can be a bit grudging. They expect to be entertained, of course.
